Arsenals defender Ben White suffered a hamstring injury in the APL match against Wolverhampton.

Arsenal took another hit in defense. As GOAL reports the England national team defender Ben White is sidelined for four five weeks due to a hamstring injury picked up in the 16th round Premier League game against Wolverhampton (2:1).

The 28 year old player had to leave the field in the first half and was replaced by young Miles Lewis Skelly. Sundays scan confirmed the muscle issue. For White its a big setback especially since he just got back into the starting lineup after a long spell without much game time.

This messes up Mikel Artetas plans even more because Arsenal already has slim pickings in defense. Christian Mosquera is out till next month with an ankle problem and Gabriel Magalhaes hasnt started training yet after his thigh injury. Expect Jurrien Timber to slot back in at right back while Riccardo Calafiori is available again post suspension.

For White this isnt his first health woe in the past year. Last season he missed a chunk due to a knee injury and early this campaign he had another muscle niggle. This season the defender has featured in 11 games across all comps four of them in the APL plus he played in the Champions League win over Brugge (3:0).
