He was the second player purchased by West Ham in the winter transfer window; Pablo Felipe was purchased from Gil Vicente for €23 million. Castellanos participated in 12 games for Lazio and scored 2 goals, as well as provide 3 assists. West Ham is the leader in spending money on winter signings, having spent over €52 million.

Perren’s former club wants to rent Perren from Krasnodar

Gaëtan Perren (France) moved to Krasnodar in the summer of 2024 from Ligue 1. Perren was the top assist provider in Ligue 1 when he moved to Russia. Although, Perren did not have a good transition to the Russian Premier League. He has taken part in 20 total games for Krasnodar in the first half of the season, including 2 goals and 3 assists.
According to the publication L’Équipe, Auxerre is interested in renting Perren from Krasnodar. Auxerre is located at the bottom of the Ligue 1 table and is planning to improve their squad with a player from the RPL. However, Krasnodar does not want to rent Perren out to Auxerre. Another club that showed interest in Perren is Monaco.

Vinicius Junior (Brazil), a forward for Real Madrid, may move to the Premier League. According to The Guardian, Chelsea is willing to spend €160 million to acquire the Brazilian. Vinicius has not extended his contract with Real Madrid, and has not agreed to do so. His current contract ends in June 2027, which means that if the player leaves Real Madrid before the end of the contract, they will lose him for free in 18 months. This season, Vinicius has participated in 19 games in La Liga. He has scored 5 goals and provided 6 assists.

CSKA is searching for a replacement for Igor Diveev

Igor Diveev will leave CSKA for Zenit in the near future. According to Championat, the primary candidate to join CSKA is Al-Wasl defender Adrielson. Adrielson previously played for Botafogo and Lyon, before moving to Al-Wasl. CSKA has been trying to negotiate the transfer of Adrielson for some time. They still have not made a final decision regarding Adrielson. Adrielson is 25 years old. He has participated in 18 games for Al-Wasl in all competitions and scored 5 goals.

Barcelona made an offer to Al-Hilal for Cancelo

Barcelona continues to try to find a place in the starting lineup for Al-Hilal defender João Cancelo. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona is willing to rent Cancelo and cover a portion of his wages. There were previous reports that Inter and Al-Hilal had verbally agreed to send Cancelo on loan to Inter. The deal was supposed to include Stefan de Vrij or Francesco Acerbi.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports that Robert Lewandowski could be part of the package in exchange for Cancelo’s move to Barcelona. If everything goes smoothly, Lewandowski will play for the Saudi Arabian Championship until the end of the current season. During this time, Barcelona will not be obligated to pay Lewandowski a salary since Al-Hilal will bear all financial responsibilities for Lewandowski.

Zenit turned down €27 million for Gerson

Cruzeiro offered €27 million for Zenit midfielder Gerson. Journalist Ekrem Konur reports that Zenit rejected the terms of the offer. Cruzeiro plans to submit another bid for Gerson and the player hopes to complete the transfer as quickly as possible. Besides Cruzeiro, two other European clubs and another Brazilian club are showing interest in Gerson. His current contract with Zenit runs until 2030. Gerson moved to Russia from Flamengo last summer and participated in 15 games in all competitions, but only scored 2 goals.
